However stud finding took me a while to figure out simply because theyre is a button to push 12 or 3 times for depth. If you just want to locate a stud stanleys basic s50 is all you need. Detects studs up to 1 12 inches below surface material. But its clear when it finds a stud because a third big light lights up. Someone thats used to stud finders would probably know but ive never used. Detects woodenmetal studs behind walls up to 38mm 1 15.
