I had an extra sensor so i swapped it out the issue is it was also 20f off and the temperature was bouncing around making the fans cut on for just a second then it would turn on then off.
Temperature range 40f to 275f. Now holley efi products power these cars and are dominating the performance world. So after checking things out the coolant temp sensor was about 20f off from my mechanical gauge on the a pillar. Its very common for the holley sniper to have coolant temperature sensor problems from the very beginning straight from the holley factory. Its definitely not a faulty sensor but it most certainly does not give you the proper temperature and its imperative to me that this sensor read accurately because the ecu delivers more or less fuel based on the coolant temperature especially when the engine is cold.
